Pi Network’s Open Mainnet Launches, Pi Coin Now Trading on Major Exchanges”

“Pi Network transitions to an open blockchain, enabling Pi Coin trading on platforms like OKX and Bitget.”

On February 20, 2025, Pi Network officially launched its Open Mainnet, marking a significant milestone in its development. This transition allows external connectivity, enabling users to transfer Pi coins to external wallets and trade them on major cryptocurrency exchanges.

Following the launch, Pi Coin has been listed on several prominent exchanges, including OKX and Bitget. Trading commenced with Pi Coin priced at $1.50 on OKX and $1.20 on Bitget. However, the market has experienced volatility; within hours, the price surged to an all-time high of $1.97 before stabilizing around $0.91.

The Open Mainnet launch also introduces opportunities for developers to deploy decentralized applications (DApps) on the Pi blockchain, expanding its ecosystem and utility. Users are encouraged to complete Know Your Customer (KYC) verification to fully participate in the open network and access all available features.

As Pi Network integrates with the broader blockchain world, it aims to create an inclusive, utility-driven cryptocurrency accessible to a global user base. Investors and users are advised to stay informed about market developments and exercise caution, as the cryptocurrency landscape is inherently volatile
